   The Polished Decade – November 3, 2024

   I recently tried the Revlon volumizer, and I’m really impressed! It was super easy to use and incredibly efficient. The noise level is comparable to a regular blow dryer, which didn’t bother me at all.Most importantly, it gets the job done! My hair feels incredibly soft and looks fantastic. I found that letting my hair air dry about 80% before using the Volumizer really helped me achieve better results. Plus, it adds a nice touch of style to my usual blowout.If you’re looking for a tool that combines volume and softness, I highly recommend the Revlon volumizer!

   My daughter bought one and insisted that I buy one. We both have super stubborn straight hair and she said it cut down her drying/styling time and also gave her some body. We’re not talking about a curl here but a little bit of volume and may be a little bit of flip under or over at the ends. So I bought one for myself about three years ago on Prime Day. I have to say that her review was correct. Definitely cut down my drying time and leaves me with a nice smooth finish without much effort for my medium length hair. I liked it so much I bought one for my other daughter. Then I bought one for my son‘s girlfriend for Christmas. And recently I bought another one for one of the kids’ best friends. One of my work colleagues has naturally thick curly hair and uses this once a week to do a full straight blowout.The pros: a fast, smooth blowout with minimal frizz. If I was more patient, I would probably have no frizz. I am not patient. Saves your arms as you’re not holding a brush in one hand and a blower in the other.Cons: no heat adjustment. You get hot high, hot low, or no heat high. This product would be greatly improved with a medium heat setting and a cool shot button like the hairdryers they make. The adjustment switch is circular on the bottom and it’s just awkward.Like most females, I have multiple hair tools. This did not replace my regular hairdryer and frequently what I’ll do is use my regular dryer with my hair flipped upside down at the roots, and then use this tool for the length. Still saves time overall even using both dryers. If I want to dry my hair and add more wave or curl, I’ll use my shark or an iron, but for most days this is more than sufficient and it’s outlasted a few regular dryers.

I thought “what have I got to loose if it does not work for me”. So blow me over when I used it and it is good. I have a stable of high end hair styling appliances that I barely ever use. For years now I barely ever blow my hair dry or try to make it straight, as it is a several step process, takes over an hour, ends with sore shoulders and my hair is still never “stick” straight. So for years after washing my hair I just add some sealing product and then put on some styling gel which helps it to curl instead of get all frizzy. But every once in a while, especially during the winter, I like to blow it dry. The first time I tried this dryer it worked like a charm, and I did not have to add a ton of straightening product to my hair. It was super easy to use once I got myself acquainted on just how large the barrel is. I liked it because it did not tangle up my hair, which is usually what happens when I use brushes and my regular dryer. I ended up drying all my hair in about 15 minutes, using the highest temp as the warm was too cool and I would have been there all day. The end result was better than I expected and with a once over with a straightener it would be where I wanted it to be for a night out.

   I hesitated to buy this for many months as I do have a large round brush and a hair dryer. As work and life moves so fast, I bought this to try saving some morning beauty rush time. It didn’t let me down! Hair styling and drying in 5min! Wish I have bought it sooner!

   I love the Revlon Hairdryer and Styler. My hair no longer has any frizz, feels silky, and is incredibly smooth. I have thick, fine, shoulder length hair that always tends to frizz. After shampooing and conditioning, I let my hair air-dry for up to an hour. Using the hairdryer/styler on low, my hair is wonderfully styled and dried in less than 10 minutes. Best hair tool I’ve ever owned!

   I was skeptical about this product. I go to the hair salon often just to wash and blow dry. Everytime I pay 40 dollars. My hair is short. After I bought this I can take a relax long shower and dry my hair while styling it. OMG! Is unbelievable! I use the product WOW to have a great results just like in the hair salon. Just buy it!😍

   I’ve mostly used this product for a straight blow out look, I haven’t tried curling yet but so far I love it. It leaves my hair smooth without it looking flat and it doesn’t look frizzy after. I also love how quickly I can do my hair with this product. Currently my favorite thing to use on my hair.

    I really like this “REVLON One-Step Volumizer Enhanced 1.0 Hair Dryer and Hot Air Brush.” We gave our teen daughter one similar and she loved it and even came out of her room saying “Look how great my hair looks! Feel it!” She loved it.I bought this one for me and found it dries my hair in just a little shorter time than my Nano Titanium Babyliss Pro does, it feels lighter, it takes up less space in the drawer, its easy to hold, it doesn’t trap and bind like those old curling iron brushes used to, and best thing is I no longer need to even use my flat iron to straighten my hair. I feel like my hair is not getting damaged like everyone says flat irons do and that makes sense. With the flat iron you’re just putting your hair between 2 flat pieces of hot metal over and over until it flattens but with this Revlon Hair Dryer & Hot Air Brush you are doing small pieces at a time and the blower with the heat is helping to straighten your hair while at the same time making it more straight. I don’t want to say flat because it doesn’t really “flatten it” but it does straighten it nicely without leaving those natural waves or curls that you don’t want in your hair. That’s my main reason for liking this product.The added plus is that I have more room in the drawer because, not only have I used this to replace my old hair dryer, I also have retired my flat iron. So 2 products have been replaced by this 1 product.It still takes time that I don’t like using to dry my hair but it is quicker and w/out having to additionally use a flat iron – that saves time getting ready too and uses less electricity. I’ve found by doing little chunks of hair at a time and alternating between bending over and drying the underside and standing back up to dry the top side it seems to not take as long. I always just put a podcast or music on very loud (because the hair dryer brush sounds loud just like most other hair dryers) to help pass the time while I embrace the suck of having to dry almost waist length hair. Overall, I really like this product and would recommend it.
